About the role
Zerion is seeking a highly motivated and resourceful Account Executive to drive sales, accelerating the growth of our business. This role will involve taking charge of both sales (80%) and business development (20%) efforts, with a primary focus on closing deals, driving revenue, and expanding sales channels. Building relationships with major players in the crypto space and advancing our core products—Zerion Wallet, Zerion API, You’ll be the first dedicated hire, playing a pivotal role in scaling our clients network and setting the foundations for our sales and business development efforts. You will work closely with product and engineering teams to drive the sales of our API and integrations.
What you will be doing:
- Close high-value deals , particularly for Zerion’s core products like Zerion API & Zerion Wallet.
- Develop and implement sales strategies to grow revenue and strengthen relationships with major clients.
- Own the full sales cycle, from prospecting to closing, ensuring no opportunities are missed and deals are effectively tracked.
- Manage and optimize the sales pipeline, ensuring consistent progress from leads to closed deals, with a focus on CRM maintenance and follow-up.
- Identify, qualify, and convert new sales leads within the crypto and blockchain community into long-term clients.
- Conduct outreach and build relationships with key players in the crypto space, driving new business opportunities.
- Monitor market trends to identify opportunities and refine sales tactics.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to provide market insights that influence product development, growth strategies, and customer engagement.
- Cultivate strong relationships with founders, creators, and builders in the onchain world.
- Appropriately manage a budget to support business development activities.
What we are looking for:
- An extensive network within the crypto space, with a proven track record of closing high-value sales deals.
- In-depth understanding of blockchain applications stack, including L1/L2/L3 networks, DeFi, wallets, and SocialFi.
- 3+ years in sales and account management roles, with a focus on achieving revenue targets.
- Experience in a startup environment, with the ability to manage multiple priorities independently in a fast-paced and volatile crypto environment.
- Strong communication and relationship-building skills, with an ability to build and nurture relationships across a variety of stakeholders.
- A resourceful, optimistic, and "get-stuff-done" attitude, thriving in dynamic environments.
What you need to succeed:
- Passion for the future of onchain, DeFi, blockchains, and the broader crypto ecosystem.
- Proven success in driving sales and meeting or exceeding revenue targets, particularly in Web2 / Web3.
- Strong communication and negotiation skills, with an ability to engage with stakeholders across different levels.
- Proficiency with CRM systems and sales processes, ensuring consistent follow-ups and deal tracking.
- A deep understanding of Zerion’s products and their place within the crypto ecosystem.
Bonus Points:
- A strong network in the crypto/Web3 space and familiarity with the whole onchain landscape.
- Demonstrated success in developing partnerships and closing deals with major players in the industry such as Uniswap, Aave, Binance, etc.
- Entrepreneurial mindset with resourcefulness and adaptability to a fast-moving environment.
- The ability to thrive while managing multiple tasks and forging strategic relationships.
- Experience in launching your own startup/side project in crypto.
