Aragon is a small team of people that spans a broad range of backgrounds, interests, and geographies. We're entrepreneurs, technologists and skeptics, troublemakers and problem solvers, who are building unstoppable tooling for the creation and management of Decentralized Autonomous Organizations (DAOs). Our mission is to enable any organization to experiment with governance at the speed of software and we envision a world where humans can coordinate by the rule of code, reducing the need for enforcement by trusted systems, often through the use of violence.
Aragon launched the first DAO framework in 2017, securing over $35 billion in assets for the likes of Lido and Curve. We are currently building Aragon OSx & App, a new and improved tech-stack supporting projects such as Polygon and Taiko.
As the Head of Business Development you’ll be reporting directly to the CEO whilst working closely with the Marketing & R&D Teams. You will travel frequently to major crypto conferences focusing on maximizing the ROI. You’ll be online often. You’ll play a pivotal role in helping design and onboard the largest and most important DAOs in the industry onto the Aragon tech-stack. You are flexible, hard-working, and a team-player who is self-driven to change the world.

💪 What do we expect from the Head of Business Development?

  • Own the full sales cycle from lead to close for prospective DAOs building on Aragon.
  • Work with projects to discern their governance needs and guide them towards a pragmatic and secure solution.
  • Find, negotiate, and implement new business partnerships that drive DAO creation to the Aragon stack, pushing for billions in $TVL to be migrated.
  • Maintain and nurture relationships with key players in the industry - prospects, existing users, DAO operators, major delegates, DAO service providers, etc.
  • Keep up to date on emerging trends in DAOs, DeFi, and adjacent industries. You should have your finger on the pulse.
  • Build, use, manage, and optimize a comprehensive CRM system to ensure all sales activities and customer interactions are tracked.
  • Stay abreast on the Aragon product roadmap to keep your client solutions grounded in reality.
  • Be the voice of your prospective leads, bringing feature requests and insights to the product and engineering teams.

⚠️ Minimum requisites

  • At least 5 years of proven experience in Business Development
  • You are a crypto-centric power-user and web3 native. You use defi regularly.
  • General understanding of DAO governance and its importance to the crypto industry
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, in English, with the ability to create and deliver presentations and pitches to potential prospects.
